Oliver Machinery introduced two benchtop CNC machines: the intelliCarve 1015 and 1013.
Model 1015 is a 3-axis carving machine capable of transferring three-dimensional images onto a workpiece. With a 15” x 20” x 4” table, the intelliCarve is capable of cutting, engraving, etching and routing wood, plastic, ceramic, acrylic, corian, avonite, Plexiglas or other comparable materials. It sells for under $5,000.
Model 1013 is a scaled-down version of the 1015, but with the same capabilities. It has a 13” x 18” capacity and retails for about $2,100, according to Oliver.
