The National Wood Flooring Association (NWFA) will convene its first annual Leadership Development Summit, scheduled for Oct. 10-12 at Live! by Loews – Ballpark Village, in St. Louis.

During the event, NWFA will host an open house at its new headquarters, located at 14 Research Park Drive in St. Charles, Mo., on Oct. 11 from 6 to 8:30 p.m.

The open house offers NWFA members an opportunity to tour the new state-of-the-art facility, which will serve as the central hub for technical training, industry events, and member activities.

“This move represents the next chapter for the NWFA as we expand our ability to support members and continue driving the wood flooring industry forward,” says NWFA President & CEO, Michael Martin. “This open house will provide members with a firsthand look at our new space and the resources we have to support their growth.”

As part of the summit, members can attend the Real Answers Small Business Workshop, designed to equip NWFA contractors and retailers with tools for professional growth, business development, and networking. The workshop will feature sessions led by the Small Business Administration (SBA) on finance, marketing, and operations, along with networking opportunities with industry leaders. Doug Howard of Growth Team Strategies will moderate a panel of successful contractors, including Chris Zizza of C&R Flooring, Steve Brattin of SVB Floors, Kevin Mullany of Benchmark Wood Floors, and John Lessick of Apex Wood Floors.
