The National Kitchen & Bath Association announced the election results for its 2011 executive committee, which will be led by president David Alderman of Chesapeake, Va.
According to the trade association's news release, Alderman is co-owner of Dave's Cabinet Inc., a fabricator of granite countertops and manufacturer of face frame and frameless cabinets, closet systems and millwork. He has been an NKBA member since 1984.
Alan Zielinski, last year's vice president, will serve as president-elect. The president and CEO of Better Kitchens Inc., a 50-year-old design firm near Chicago, has served the NKBA as a chapter president and on the board of directors.
John Morgan, a 20-year veteran of the kitchen and bath industry, will serve as vice president.
Carolyn Cheetham of Red Deer, Alberta, and John Petrie of MH Custom Cabinetry in Mechanicsburg, Pa. - both certified master kitchen and bath designers - will serve as secretary and treasurer, respectively.
Mark Karas of Adams Kitchens Inc. in Stoneham, Mass., fills out the committee as immediate past president.
