NKBA elects 2010 president and executive committee

The National Kitchen & Bath Association elected Mark Karas, general manager of Adams Kitchens Inc. of Stoneham, Mass, as the president of the trade group's executive committee.

Karas has been active in the NKBA for more than 20 years, previously serving as president, vice president of communications, and vice president of programs for the Northern New England chapter.

Current vice president David Alderman, partner of Dave's Cabinet Inc. in Chesapeake, Va., will become the president-elect and treasurer Alan Zielinski, president and CEO of Better Kitchens Inc. in Niles, Ill., was elected vice president.

New members of the executive committee are secretary John Morgan of Morgan Pinnacle LLC in Glyndon, Md., and treasurer Michael Alba of Creative Kitchens in Coral Springs, Fla.

Suzie Williford, vice president of sales at Kiva Kitchen and Bath in Houston, is the immediate past president.
