Milwaukee added a top-handle and barrel-grip jigsaw to its M12 lithium-ion line of cordless tools.

The saw, with either handle design, weighs 4.1 lbs. and measures 8-3/4” long, making it the most compact and lightest professional cordless jig saw on the market, according to the company.

“Powered by [Milwaukee’s] M12 Red Lithium battery technology, the saw’s incredible cutting power and control delivers a portable cutting solution for a wide range of trade applications,” product manager David Lincoln said in a statement. “Ideal for carpenters, remodelers, plumbers and electricians, this tool provides the perfect solution for making quick cuts in wood, metal, wall tile, or plastics without the hassle of pulling out a cord.”

The saw also features a 3/4” stroke length, variable speed trigger toll-free 45-degree bevel capability, and LED work light.
