Mirka opens technology center in Finland

Mirka celebrated the recent opening in Finland of a new technology center that focuses on sanding and finishing systems.

The center, which opened in June, is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, such as ATEX-certified gas-heated paint booths and an auditorium with the latest presentation technology.

“The goal is to have at least 1,500 people per year participate in Mirka Academy training courses and workshops. This is just the start to become an internationally recognized technology and training center in sanding and finishing systems,” the company said in a statement.
