The International Wood Products Association’s executive director, Brad McKinney, and its board of directors have mutually and amicably agreed to part ways.

“It has been an honor to lead this trade association,” McKinney said in a statement from the IWPA, “and I am extremely proud of what we achieved during my tenure. We brought on nearly 30 new members in six months through our New Growth Initiative; established partnerships to grow our Wood Trade Compliance Training by building an online, on-demand learning platform; and developed productive working relationships with partners in the pertinent U.S. federal agencies, congressional offices, and private sector organizations in the U.S. and abroad. We accomplished what we set out to do, and I wish IWPA the very best going forward.”

“Brad’s tenure leading IWPA was productive and accomplished, and we thank him for his service to our industry,” said IWPA president JoAnn Gillebaard Keller. “We asked him to grow our association, to continue its important government relations and compliance training work, and to enhance our public affairs activity – he did all that and more. We look forward to what the future holds for Brad, and wish him the best in his future endeavors.”
