Manufacturing software event scheduled in New York

Anderson America Corp. and Omnitech Systems are sponsoring an introduction to parametric cabinet software and how it drives manufacturing July 16 at Eveready Hardware in Long Island City, N.Y.

Representatives from the sponsors, as well as Cabinet Vision and Alphacam software, will review current offerings in manufacturing software.

The event will also include the following scheduled presentations:

• “Nested based manufacturing: Why it makes sense for the small shop,” presented by David Paine of Omnitech Systems

• “Screen to machine,” presented by Paul Corey of Cabinet Vision

• “CAM software: Maching one-ff parts for profit,” presented by Alphacam.
