Leitz relocates to Michigan

Leitz Tooling Systems moved its U.S. production facility from Jasper, Ind., to Grand Rapids, Mich.

Leitz CEO Mike Lind said in a statement. "As the industry leader, Leitz is committed to providing the finest tools, the quickest delivery times, and the lowest applied machining costs to woodworking companies throughout North America."

Leitz says it will continue to operate a full-line service center in Jasper to serve the needs of customers within the region.
