Leitz expands its U.S. operations

In early October, Leitz Tooling opened a new facility for service in the greater Reno, Nev., area.

“We recognize there is a growing market in that part of the country and we are expanding our reach by offering a dedicated location to serve customers in that region,” company CEO Mike Lind said in a statement.

Leitz is a manufacturer of precision tooling and systems for machining wood, plastics and advanced composites. It has other services centers in Grand Rapids, Mich.; Archdale, N.C.; Garland, Texas; San Bernardino, Calif., and Kent, Wash.
