Laguna Tools partners with private equity firm

Laguna Tools announced an investment from Hudson Ferry Capital, a New York-based private equity firm.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed, but Laguna says its management team retained “a significant equity ownership in the company.”

"We are excited to be partnering with Hudson Ferry Capital and working with them to execute our growth plans," Laguna Tools president Torben Helshoj said in a statement. "They are experienced investors and we look forward to working with them as we continue to expand our product lines and grow our customer base. No changes are planned with regard to our approach to the business."
