Gibson Guitars CEO Henry Juszkiewicz will be a featured speaker at the International Wood Products Association's 2012 World of Wood Convention, scheduled for March 28-30 at the Miramonte in Indian Wells, Calif.

Juszkiewicz will join more than a dozen other speakers on subjects from the economy and international trade policy to business leaders from key market segments, according to the trade group. This year’s convention will also feature a half-day workshop on Lacey Act compliance.

More than 260 industry leaders from 25 countries that are expected to attend the convention.

“IWPA's convention is known for tackling industry's critical issues and this year is no different,” IWPA president Alan McIlvain Jr. said in a statement. “Whether we are talking plywood issues and the EPA formaldehyde regulation, or the Lacey Act and industry compliance, these conventions provide the practical information our members can use immediately upon returning home. None of us can afford to guess about compliance.”
