John Morikis, Chairman and CEO of The Sherwin-Williams Co., is the new Chair of the Policy Advisory Board of the Harvard Joint Center for Housing Studies.

“As our Policy Advisory Board enters its 50th year of supporting housing research at Harvard, I couldn’t be more pleased to have John at the helm,” said Chris Herbert, the center’s Managing Director. “He brings nearly four decades experience in the U.S. housing industry that will be invaluable in helping the PAB further its mission of advancing housing as a national priority.”

“I am honored to step into the Chair position of the PAB,” said Morikis. “The center is an important and trusted source of information and analysis of housing market conditions, and I look forward to doing my part to help both the center and the PAB build bridges between industry, policy, and academia.”
