The first-ever Virtual World of Wood Convention held from April 1-3 was a major success, according to its host, the International Wood Products Association.
“In response to the growing threat of the COVID-19 pandemic, IWPA reimagined its annual convention to allow attendees, which include importers, U.S. manufacturers, wholesalers, offshore suppliers, and service providers to the global wood products industry, to participate from the safety of their home or office,” the IWPA said in a statement.
“Participants joined via web-conferencing for three full days of interactive events to receive the latest responses from the federal government to the pandemic and gain insight from convention presenters on the latest market developments and trends.”
IWPA recorded the Virtual World of Wood sessions and will make them available via the IWPA E-Training portal.
