IWF is holding the rates to exhibit at $17.05 per square foot for returning 2008 and 2010 exhibitors and implementing a new tiered exhibit-space rate pricing system.

IWF has also worked with GES, the official show contractor, to create new packages that will offer the 2012 exhibitors more options for saving money on their drayage, carpet and basic booth furnishings provided by GES.

"The new tiered pricing and GES packages will enable our returning and new exhibitors the opportunity to showcase more products at lower rates than they have paid in the past," said Michael Burdis, IWF 2012 chairman and president of James L. Taylor Mfg. Co., based in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.

Under the new tiered pricing system, the average cost per square foot decreases as more exhibit space is contracted. For returning 2008 and 2010 exhibitors, the following applies:

? For 3,999 sq. ft. or less, the rate is $17.05 per sq. ft.

? For the next 2,000 sq. ft., the rate is $14.95 per sq. ft.

? For the next 2,000 sq. ft., the rate is $12.85 per sq. ft.

? For the next 2,000 sq. ft., the rate is $10.75 per sq. ft.

? For all additional contracted exhibit space, the rate is $8.65 per sq. ft.

Rates for all other contracting exhibitors are as follows

? For 3,999 sq. ft. or less, the rate is $18.75 per sq. ft.

? For the next 2,000 sq. ft., the rate is $16.46 per sq. ft.

? For the next 2,000 sq. ft., the rate is $14.15 per sq. ft.

? For the next 2,000 sq. ft., the rate is $11.85 per sq. ft.

? For all additional contracted exhibit space, the rate is $9.55 per sq. ft.

"We understand the importance of keeping costs down for our exhibitors. The new tiered pricing is the first of several new programs that will be announced for exhibitors and attendees," added Burdis.

The next IWF will be held Aug. 22-25, 2012, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. The IWF is owned and sponsored by the American Home Furnishings Alliance, Wood Machinery Manufacturers of America and Woodworking Machinery Industry Association.
