Infinity hires former Woodsmith editor

Randall A. Maxey is the new vice president of marketing for Infinity Cutting Tools, according to the distributor of woodworking tools and accessories.

Maxey was a senior editor at Woodsmith magazine, published by Active Interest Media, which also owns Woodshop News.

"Randy brings a lifetime of woodworking experience and industry knowledge to help grow our company and appeal to a wider range of woodworking enthusiasts and professionals," Infinity president and CEO David Venditto said in a statement. "He will be focusing on expanding our marketing efforts, development of new products, and broadening our product offering to our customers."
