Grants available for New England artists

Boston’s Society of Arts + Crafts announced it will award four grants of $3,000 each in 2023 to support New England craft artists.

“The purpose of the grants is to support craft artists who reside in New England to pursue new directions or advance new ideas in their work. The goal of increasing equity, inclusion and diversity in the craft field will be an important focus of the program,” the organization said in a statement.

Two grants will be awarded this summer with an application deadline of June 5. The other two grants will be awarded in the winter with applications due Nov. 5.
