In an effort to help HVAC professionals understand and comply with complicated code requirements, DeWalt has published the "DeWalt HVAC Code Reference: Based on the International Mechanical Code."
"When working on critical HVAC functions, such as exhaust systems, fireplace ventilation, and electrical connections, there is little room for error, making it even more important to have a detailed reference guide on hand," says Jennifer Ervin, director of business development for DeWalt, in a news release.
Based on the International Code Council's International Mechanical Code, the new code referenceprovides readers with the knowledge and information needed to successfully install, remove, repair or modify HVAC equipment. With 80 pages of detailed code information, the book covers materials, duct construction, air conditioning, combustion, water heaters, fireplace ventilation, electrical connections, and more. Full-color, 3-D illustrations detail components of code requirements and violations to help readers visualize and apply key concepts.
Books in the reference series retail for $14.95 to $39.95 and are available from industrial distributors and construction supply stores. For information, visit www.dewalt.com/guides
