Choice Machinery Group, parent company of Ritter Machinery and Evans Midwest Machinery, announced it has purchased the Laminating Division from Midwest Automation.

“Choice Machinery Group manufactures American-made machinery brands and provides automation solutions to a variety of industries. The addition of Midwest Automation’s Panel Laminating Division will add to Choice’s robust automated laminating offerings and will provide new and existing customers with enhanced options and integration opportunities,” the company said in a statement.

“Since 2014, Choice has manufactured laminating machinery under the brand name Evans Machinery. The existing line of machinery is rooted in 50 years of history and has set the bar for panel laminating machinery. Evans and Midwest Automation are both known world-wide for their panel laminating equipment. For the first time, these brands will now offer panel laminating solutions under the same roof.

“All equipment and operations will be relocated to Choice Machinery Group’s headquarters in Holland, Michigan. At their current facility Choice manufactures Ritter Machinery and will now manufacture both the Evans and Midwest brands under two separate divisions: Evans Midwest Laminating Machinery & Evans Midwest Postforming and Countertop Production Machinery, as well as a variety of custom machinery solutions.”
