CabinetMaker/FDM sold

Watt Publishing Co. has sold its CabinetMaker/FDM Woodworking division to CCI Media, located in Fort Atkinson, Wis.

CabinetMakerFDM is a Web- and print-based business unit that focuses on the cabinet, furniture, fixture and millwork markets.

"Our business strategy is to maximize the potential of the CabinetMaker/FDM brand as the cornerstone of the CCI Media portfolio," said Tim Fixmer, president and CEO of CCI Media, in a statement.

CCI Media was formed last year to acquire business-to-business media brands. Fixmer was most recently president of Stamats Business Media.
