Biesse appoints North America marketing manager


Biesse, a manufacturer of high-tech systems for woodworking, glass and stone, announced Gerri Yarbrough as North American marketing manager.

Yarbrough joins Biesse with more than a decade of marketing experience in the woodworking industry and will be responsible for leading all marketing initiatives in the U.S. and Canada for the Biesse Wood Division as well as Intermac Glass and Stone and Diamut tooling, according to the company.

“Biesse strongly believes in North America as a key strategic region for our group, and as such is investing more in marketing and communication,” Biesse America and Biesse Canada CEO Federico Broccoli said in a statement. “We are pleased to welcome Gerri aboard as we continue our commitment to providing our customers with the very best support and service.”

In addition to developing marketing strategies, coordinating public relations efforts and managing budgets, Yarbrough will be closely involved with organizing company events, including facility tours in the U.S., Canada and Italy, and participation in major trade shows. She will also be responsible for organizing Biesse’s One2One seminars.
