Ligna 2011, a biennial industry trade show held in Hannover, Germany, attracted a total of 90,000 visitors, an increase of 13 percent over the previous event, according to the producer.
Foreign attendance increased 26 percent from 2009, and represented approximately 40 percent of all visitors.
Ligna 2011 featured 1,766 exhibitors from 52 nations, including 34 from the United States.
The next Ligna is scheduled for May 6-10, 2013.
