The American Association of Woodturners has scheduled its 24th annual symposium for June 18-20 at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford, Conn.

The symposium offers demonstrations, information and camaraderie. On average, 1,300 woodturners attend this annual event to see gallery exhibits, learn new skills and attend more than 150 rotations of demonstrations by world-class turners.

Scheduled demonstrators include Peter Bloch of New London, N.H.; Trent Bosch of Fort Collins, Co.; Jimmy Clewes of Las Vegas; Christian Delhon of Berch-Sur-Mer, France; Sharon Doughtie of Kailua, Hawaii; Cindy Drozda of Boulder, Colo.; Peter Exton of Oneonta, N.Y.; Michael Fortune of Lakefield, Ontario; Stephen Gleasner of Appleton, Maine; John Jordan of Cane Ridge, Tenn.; Michael Kehs of Quakerstown, Pa.; Glenn Lucas of County Carlow, Ireland; Graeme Priddle of Northland, New Zealand; Joey Richardson of Northeast Lincolnshire, England; Mark St. Leger of Pearisburg, Va.; and Hans Weissflog of Hildesheim, Germany.
