For some reason it never occurred to me to attempt to build an automobile out of wood.

Actually, I think that's about the only thing I've never tried to make out of wood. Or at least thought about making out of wood. Kind of odd because I have always liked the old "woody wagons."

A friend on my old man's had a '36 Ford woody that he restored and it was a sweet car. But it was really only partly made of wood. And there have been many cars that have incorporated wood elements like interior trim and paneling, dash boards, steering wheel rims and the like.

But this guy (http://www.joeharmondesign.com/gallery.html) has taken things to a whole new level.

Will it catch on? Only time will tell ...
