TigerStop introduces the TigerSaw MiterXL, a fully automatic push-feed upcut saw system for cutting miter angles on wood as well as other materials while eliminating the need for manually measuring and marking material and positioning a miter saw.
It feeds material and cuts parts to the desired length quickly and accurately cut miters to a tolerance of plus/minus .1 degree, according to the company.
“The TigerSaw MiterXL allows small and large woodworking operations to quickly and accurately cut custom mitered parts while increasing productivity and reducing waste. This state-of-the-art machine is elegant in its simplicity. Anyone can learn how to get precision mitered parts in no time flat,” says product manager Mike Anderson.
The machine is powered by a 230-volt, 3-phase motor and uses a 610mm blade. It has a working length of 8’ to 108’ and features a self-adjusting front fence that ensures material stays flush against the back fence as it is being fed out of the saw, according to the company.
Operation is supported by TigerLink 6 Cut List downloading software, as well as the TigerTouch cut list management and optimizing software with touchscreen control. Dual dust extraction works for both the blade compartment and the top cap.
The TigerSaw Miter XL sells for about $100,000, depending on options.
