SurfPrep adds ProFoam sanding pads
SurfPrep, a manufacturer of sanding systems and accessories, has introduced the new ProFoam line of hook and loop sanding pads.
SurfPrep, a manufacturer of sanding systems and accessories, has introduced the new ProFoam line of hook and loop sanding pads featuring “premium pre-stressed grain for added longevity,” according to the company.
ProFoam won a Visionary Award for product innovation at the 2023 AWFS Fair in July.
“SurfPrep ProFoam is the longest-lasting foam abrasive on the market. It gives two to three times the cut rate with five times the abrasive life,” says Hannah Khalaf, the company’s marketing manager.
“ProFoam has been completely redesigned and significantly increases surface finish quality through an electrostatic coating process. The minerals have been upgraded to a blue-fired aluminum oxide pre-stressed grain which provides a faster cut, tougher abrasive, and the grains stay sharper for longer.”
The ProFoam pads are flexible and pliable for sanding different moldings and contoured areas. They are available in three options: 5mm thin, 10mm firm, and 1/2” ‘squishy’. They are compatible with most commercial sanders, according to the company.
ProFoam products range in price from $15.73 to $52.08.
