At an 8,000-sq.-ft. booth, Stiles Machinery introduced a new generation of Altendorf F-45 CNC-controlled sliding table saws at AWFS.

The new Altendorf F-45 platform includes four machines with new features, including three different controller options, a double-tilting saw carriage, and motorized crosscut fence.

Product manager Aaron Brink says these new features, functions and capabilities allow customers to configure a machine in any way that gives them the most value.

“Altendorf is revamping the whole F-45 program with four models in fixed configurations – the Standard, Fusion, Epic and Elmo versions. The F-45 has been around for many years and it’s a well-known machine. In addition to the controller options, it’s possible to have double tilting on any F-45 configuration.

“The new motorized crosscut fence is also available to be added to any F-45, regardless of configuration. [Customers] have always had a lot of interest in this, but it was very expensive. Now it’s becoming much more affordable.”

Pricing for the new F-45 models starts just north of $20,000 and increases with add-ons.
