DeWalt is introducing its new 23-gauge pin nailer with a tool-free jam release mechanism.

The design addresses common user frustrations associated with 23-guage pin nailers, according to the company.

“Setting 5/8” to 2” nails recessed into oak with the power and adaptability to deliver professional results, this is the ideal tool to fasten materials while keeping nail visibility to a minimum,” the company said in a statement.

“Also equipped with tool-free depth adjustment, the pin nailer allows for quick adjustment of the nail depth for proper nail setting. A durable, oil-free motor helps to keep work surfaces free of oil stains. In addition, the low nail lockout feature of this nailer alerts the user that it’s time to reload, preventing unwanted marks on the work surface. The low nail lockout feature also includes a bypass mechanism that drives the remaining nails in the magazine. Finally, a reversible belt hook offers a variety of carrying options.”
