New hands-free door opening system from Richelieu

Richelieu presents the new Libero electronic and automatic door opener, activated by waving a foot in front of the sensor located in the kick board.

“This low voltage device can be installed to the bottom of a base cabinet once a cut-out is made and then secured using only four screws. Ideal for frameless base cabinets and top-mounted waste bins and common bottom drawers,” the company said in a statement.

“The device is equipped with a control that identifies obstacles thanks to a friction clutch system. Settings for the lighting sensor and ejection force can be adjusted using the available smart phone app.”
