Martin Woodworking Machines announces the availability of the Bi-Matic Prima 7.3 Plus One edgebander, the company’s entry-level production machine that’s loaded with features.

Martin, the official general importer and service partner of Bi-Matic, an Italian manufacturer, says the machine is geared for a vast range of applications.

“The Prima 7 Series is more for a larger production setting, but it really could be ideal for any size custom shop,” says product manager Jody Shepard. “It’s got outstanding touchscreen technology with pre-mill, top and bottom trim, end trim, corner rounding scaper and buffer as some of its features. It’s ideal for any type of edgebanding – shelving, full cabinet edges, or for rounding.”

The machine uses a hot melt glue system and can run banding up to 3mm thick.

Features include a 12” touchscreen control, motorized fence, pneumatic panel distance, pre-milling unit, double trim saw, servo-controlled top and bottom milling station, pneumatic end-rounding unit, servo-controlled profile scraper, glue scraper, buffing unit, and dust ports.

The Prima 7.3 Plus One edgebander starts at $70,000.
