Jet-Kleen presents an option to compressed air

Specialized Safety Products, a division of AWT World Trade Group, offers the Jet-Kleen for debris removal, an alternative to using compressed air.

The base model delivers a high volume of air at 3.0 psi to remove wood chips, sawdust, fibers, moisture, and particulate matter from workers, equipment and work surfaces, according to the company.

“Increasing awareness of the dangers and costs of compressed air has led many woodshops and metalworkers to seek out a safe and effective alternative for their operations,” says Michael Green, president of AWT.

“This has in turn created a growing demand for the Jet-Kleen units across a range of disciplines and industries. These customers use them to improve safety and significantly reduce cleanup times in woodshops, metal shops, industrial and production facilities, and any environment where safety and efficiency are paramount.”

He adds that using compressed air can also introduce contaminates such as contain oil and particulate matter.

The Jet Kleen is also available as a ‘limited’ model that delivers 1.9 psi.
