Festool added several new products to its Systainers storage products line, making organization a bit easier both in the shop and on the go. Systainers are stackable, plastic containers for storing and organizing tools and accessories.

“Oftentimes, a storage case is designed to protect the tool, but we like to think about how the customer can use the tool in practicality,” product manager Rick Bush says. “The Systainers system is more than just having a box for your tools; it’s having a system in an organized manner so you don’t lose things and it keeps your tools protected. We have extended out the line to include other capabilities.”

This includes the Sys-Toolbox, available in small and extra-large, which is basically a toolbox without a lid. It latches to the top of a Systainer or can be carried around with the handle.

Also new is the Sys-Roll, a lightweight handcart capable of carrying 220 lbs. of loaded Systainers, according to Festool.

“We’ve always had a flat rolling cart, but we made it bigger and also created a hand-truck version (Sys-Roll) that allows you to stack multiple Systainers storage containers on it. It has a built-in strap and a drawer on the bottom,” Bush says.

The redesigned rolling cart, the Sys-Cart, is a dolly with 3-15/16” locking casters. It can also hold 220 lbs. and fits Festool’s Systainers and Sortainers.

The Sys-Toolboxes sell for $49 to $59. The Sys-Cart is $85 and the Sys-Roll is $175.
