EZ Door Machine adds new quick-change feature

The EZ Door machine can make a five-piece raised-panel door in less than two minutes, according to its manufacturer, Fletcher Machine Industries. A new feature allows for faster cutter height adjustments.

“An operator has always had the ability to swap out any number of the four cutterheads in order to vary cutting shapes. However, previously cutter height stops would need to be adjusted ‘on the fly’,” the company explained in a statement.”

“Today, if an operator wants to replace one cutter stack with another, the cutter height adjustment block is easily removed and a second adjustment block can be installed with a few turns of an Allen wrench. By pairing adjustment blocks with calibrated cutter stacks an operator can reduce down time to minutes.
