DeWalt adding cordless dust extractor

DeWalt is introducing the new FlexVolt 60-volt Max dust extractor, model DCV585), adding to its system of more than 120 OSHA Table 1 Compliant solutions intended to limit workers’ exposure to respirable crystalline silica.

The dust extractor runs on DeWalt’s FelxVolt batteries and achieves 125 CFM. It features Wireless Tool Control that gives the user the option to activate the extractor from a few feet and automatic filter cleaning mechanism, according to the company.

The dust extractor will be available in November, selling for $549 with two HEPA filters and two batteries, or as a bare tool for $349.
