Vitap, the manufacturer since 2005 of the original and AWFS 2013 Visionary Award winner Eclipse contour edgebander, introduced new technology for use with a PUR glue system.
The new machines will have a dual glue system, meaning they can use both conventional edgebanding glue and the PUR system, with just minimal setup time.
The Eclipse is designed with an integrated trimming unit and is able to process large or small panels without extra setup. It can apply straight or shaped (concave and convex) edges with great versatility and ease of use and requires a minimal footprint in the workspace, according to the company.
