SawStop LLC announced a 10-year commitment to support the SkillsUSA championships.
SawStop will provide 18 industrial cabinet saws for the cabinetmaking competitions, along with a grand-prize saw for the first-place competitors in the high school and post-secondary categories.?
"Nurturing and protecting the next generation of woodworkers is very important to us,” SawStop vice president of marketing Matt Howard said in a statement. “For many years, we have supported SkillsUSA competitions at the regional and national level. Supplying these saws to the national championships for the next 10 years ensures that for the next many years, those students will compete on the finest, safest saws available."?

"That includes safe working practices generally and equipment safety as well.
