SCM Group will feature edgebanders at IWF

SCM Group will feature the new Olimpic K 560 Series edgebander at the 2014 International Woodworking Fair.

The Olimpic K 560 Series is ideal for the woodshop focused on productivity and efficiency, according to the company.

The K 560 has been designed to operate for many hours per day, resulting in the perfect solution for companies requiring high productivity machining many consecutive panels.

The new rounding unit features dual motor technology allowing simultaneous trimming and rounding. These two operations, within a single group, require less space, and together with the working distance between panels of only 600 mm, reduce the time required to edgeband panels, according to the company.

The intuitive touch-screen display, three-position trimming unit, and uniform glue roller are just some of the features found on the K 560 series of machines.
