Safety Speed Mfg., a provider of panel processing equipment, will present its new SPM301HD Screw Pocket Machine, at the AWFS fair.

“We are thrilled to introduce the SPM301HD to the market,” Safety Speed president Brian Donahue said. “We’ve spent many months working, researching, and refining manufacturing to ensure that this machine is faster, quieter, cleaner and all-around better than any other screw pocket machine currently on the market. We currently have customers that are doing up to five thousand pockets per day.”

The SPM301’s mechanical linkage allows the pilot air drill and spindle router bit to cut at the same time, reducing cycle time by almost half without sacrificing cut quality.

“Simple back fence, side fences, stop rail, and depth adjustment make setups and adjustments quick and easy. The built-in analog depth gauge allows changing material thickness a breeze and can be completed within seconds. When it comes to manufacturing, the SPM301HD is unmatched. Manufactured completely in the USA, this machine showcases heavy-duty construction; a machine truly built to be a work horse and requires standard 220 volts and 30 cfm compressed air at 80 psi,” the company said in a statement.
