The Association of Woodworking & Furnishings Suppliers is looking for woodworking industry executives to judge the Visionary Awards, presented at the AWFS fair in Las Vegas.
Potential judges must have a major purchasing influence with a woodworking manufacturer and possess a strong knowledge of shop operations. Anyone with experience in plastic fabrication is also encouraged to participate in order to judge this year’s new category for Plastic Fabricating Machinery and Supplies.
The voting panel will review applications prior to the AWFS event in order to choose finalists and then must be available at the Las Vegas Convention Center, the day prior to the event, July 21 and the first day of the event, July 22, to select the winners.

Visionary Award categories include Product Innovation, Productivity, Green/Environmental, and Ergonomics/Safety.
Product categories include machinery under $50,000; machinery over $50,000; power tools; decorative and functional hardware; components; tooling; software; raw material, and plastics machinery and supplies.
