HS Spindles enters 10-hp market

HS Spindles LLC completed its first round of prototypes and, with the 106B spindle, a 10-hp model with HSK 63F tool clamping.

The 106B is the company’s entry into the 10-hp spindle market for woodworking and soft metal applications. It also manufactures smaller CNC spindles capable of 50,000 rpm. More powerful 106-sized units will follow with liquid cooling, the company said.

Options for the 106B include fan, compressed-air or liquid-cooled versions and 460- or 380-volt motors.
