Hettich extends e-service portal

Hettich introduced Hettich Plan, a new tool for quick and easy car-case construction.

“Requiring no installation, the online planning portal can be used with all common browsers and terminal devices and complements Hettich's tried and tested e-services, such as the Hettich Shop and Hettich CAD, with a further user-friendly function,” the company said in a statement.

“Hettich Plan makes it far easier to configure car cases as the program guides the user through the furniture construction process: a car-case library provides a wide choice of furniture that can be matched to individual preferences. It then suggests the possible and constructionally correct fittings as well as accessories for the user to select. It is not possible to select any wrong fittings, giving the fabricator certainty and significantly shortening planning and construction times. Finally, all production relevant data are put together.

“The planning portal provides a wide range of furniture for the kitchen, bathroom, living room and bedroom environments. In the kitchen section, for example, there is a choice of base units, corner units, tall units and wall units. The program includes the fittings for drawer systems, pull-out systems, hinges as well as sliding and folding door systems.”
