DBS will roll out Smart Shelf drawer

Drawer Box Specialties is introducing Smart Shelf, a smooth-gliding drawer that mounts directly to cabinet shelves to help maximize access to cabinet contents.

“Homeowners often want the storage capacity of a cabinet but prefer the functionality of a drawer to make the best use of the space,” national sales manager Jim Irving said in a statement. “Smart Shelves offer the best of both worlds. They are easy to install and are available in a wide range of sizes making them simple and profitable additions to any cabinet project.”

The Smart Shelf can be used in new or existing cabinetry. Each unit comes prepackaged with the necessary hardware. The 3” high shelf kits come fully assembled in five stock sizes designed for cabinets 22” or more in depth. The units are made with dovetail joinery and are constructed from 12 mm pre-finished Baltic birch.
