Cefla North America welcomes new sales manager

Cefla Finishing Group, a world leader in finishing, decorating and digital printing for woodworking and other industries, hired Brent Warren as sales manager.

“Warren becomes the newest member of a team dedicated to finding innovative solutions to enhance wood products and byproducts, as well as applications for glass, plastic, fiber cement, composite materials and metal. He will be responsible for North American sales for the Finishing Group, as well as corporate account management,” the company said in a statement.

Warren was formerly vice president, sales manager and general manager for the Surfaces Division of Bürkle North America, where he specialized in direct technical sales, project management, contract negotiations and distribution management. He also worked as regional sales manager for Lord Corp., taking responsibility for sales of water-based and UV curable coatings for woodworking companies in North and Central America. As technical director for Weyerhaeuser, he managed quality control functions for a composite panel manufacturing facility, and became an expert in understanding customer processes and applications, developing and tailoring products to meet evolving requirements.

In his career, Warren has managed procurement of raw materials for three industrial manufacturing facilities, worked with vendors to ensure uninterrupted supply of materials, handled by-product sales and disposal, and designed products for five Riviera Cabinet manufacturers, sharing his expertise in configuring plant layouts and detailing machinery specifications. Warren has a bachelor’s of science degree in Wood Science and Technology from North Carolina State University, the company said.
