The 2017 AWFS fair will feature the Education Town Hall and Higher Education Learning Pavilion to showcase woodworking education programs.
“AWFS strongly supports industry education programs and these are two opportunities to showcase the great programs that are available,” AWFS executive vice president Angelo Gangone said. “High school students and teachers, as well as industry professionals, can benefit from learning more about these programs and how to engage with them.”
The Education Town Hall is scheduled for 9:30-11 a.m. on July 22 on the AWFS fair stage (booth No. 5527). It will feature program presentations from post-secondary schools, followed by a moderated question-and-answer session. Schools interested in participating should contact AWFS education director Adria Torrez at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Higher Education Learning Pavilion, located in the machinery hall, will feature post-secondary woodworking schools and training programs. Interested exhibitors should contact AWFS marketing director Jennifer Evans at email@example.com about reserving a complimentary booth.
