Atlas Copco offers the new GHS VSD+ range of oil-injected screw vacuum systems, which the company says reduces energy usage by up to 50 percent with significantly better performance benchmarked against traditional oil-sealed and dry vane vacuum pumps.
The series features low noise levels and reduced environmental impact due to ultra-high oil retention at all operating pressures and conforms to energy management and environmental commitments according to ISO 50001/14001.
“The new GHS VSD+ series’ performance is the latest in pioneering technology advancements in the vacuum industry,” regional business line manager for vacuum solutions in North America Jerry Geenen said in a company statement. “Our vacuum engineers designed the new series based on well-known and durable plug-and-play design principals of our compressors to deliver peak performance at operating vacuum levels commonly found in industrial vacuum applications.”
Atlas Copco, founded in 1873, is a supplier of compressors, expanders and air treatment systems, construction and mining equipment, power tools and assembly systems.
