The aftermath

The devastating fires that recently raged through the Santa Rosa (Calif.) area destroyed many homes and businesses. The Oakland Hills’ fire consumed over 1,500 homes, and the Inverness/Point Reys’ blaze also took a toll.

If there’s a silver lining, there will be work as people begin to pick up the pieces and start rebuilding what was lost.

The last rebuilding effort in the Oakland Hills area lasted for years. Once everyone recovered from the shock, the whole area was alive with cleanup and construction.

The tradespeople certainly made a difference rebuilding a community, and hopefully will again.
