COLT TOOLS and RISS TOOLS, manufacturers of boring bits and other woodworking accessories, were established as a U.S. corporation in June and now offer several new and unique patented products.
They include MaxiCut Forstner bits, which feature a cutting surface on the lead point to pull the bit through the wood and asymmetrical chip breakers to produce smaller shavings, rather than one large one from traditional Forstner bits. The companies also offer the RotaStop shank system, allowing users to use the bits in any drill chuck or Colt extension and it will automatically self-center and lock in with no additional set screws or other holding devises.
