MULTIBOND MX-100, from Franklin Adhesives & Polymers, uses the renewable-resource soy to create an environmentally friendly and one-part adhesive for use in manufacturing engineered hardwood flooring. The bio-modified cross-linking PVA adhesive contains no added formaldehyde and easily meets California's CARB Phase 2 limits on formaldehyde emissions, according to the company.
