UCS Forest Group expands global supply chain
The UCS Forest Group, which owns the subsidiary companies of Upper Canada Forest Products, Sierra Forest Products and A&M Wood Specialty, announced that it will provide mill-direct sales to customers in North America and throughout the world under the banner of UCS Global.
The company says director Hugh Reitz will be working through its network of eight North American distribution centers to provide expedited services when required.
“Mr. Reitz, is a U.S.-based 15-year industry veteran who is highly skilled at matching customer needs to the wood supply located anywhere in the world. In his new role Hugh will perform the dual functions of purchasing and sales and ensuring compliance with import and environmental policies,” UCS Forest Group president Warren Spitz said in a statement.
