Oneida awards two scholarships

Oneida Air Systems selected the first two recipients of its Future Craftsmen scholarship, a monetary award created to foster and support students who are studying to be the next generation of American craftsmen in wood.

The winners are Meredith Hart, a student at the North Bennet Street School in Boston, and Will Barstow, a junior in the furniture design program at the Rochester Institute of Technology’s School for American Crafts in Rochester, N.Y.

Oneida said it plans to offer five scholarships next year.
